Can a FIFA Soccer Agent represent a minor?

Yes, a FIFA Soccer Agent can represent a minor or a club in a Transaction involving a minor, but there are certain conditions that must be met. The Soccer Agent must complete a designated continuing professional development course on minors in the Agent Platform and comply with national laws in the country or territory where the minor will be employed. The Agent can only make an Approach to the minor no more than six months before they can sign their first professional contract and must obtain prior written consent from the minor's legal guardian before making any approach.

For a Representation Agreement between the Soccer Agent and a minor to be enforceable, it must meet the minimum requirements provided in article 12 paragraph 7, and the Soccer Agent must comply with the above-mentioned requirements and the Representation Agreement must be signed by the minor and their legal guardian according to the law applicable in the country or territory where the minor will be employed.

It's important to note that national Soccer agent regulations may introduce stricter measures than the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR), and Soccer Agents must be aware of any regulations that impose additional requirements to operate in the member association's territory or completely forbid the representation of minors, such as Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
