What is the procedure for an individual licensed as a players’ agent prior to 1 April 2015 to obtain a Soccer Agent licence?

If an individual was previously licensed as an agent under FIFA Players’ Agent Regulations (1991, 1995, 2001 or 2008 editions), they can be exempted from taking the FIFA exam if they meet certain requirements. Firstly, they must submit a license application through the FIFA Agent Platform before September 30th, 2023. Additionally, they must provide evidence of their previous agent license, meet eligibility criteria outlined in article 5 of the FIFA Soccer Agent Regulations (FFAR), show proof of registration as an intermediary, or as an owner, director, or employee of a registered legal entity as an intermediary between April 1st, 2015 and the approval of the FIFA Soccer Agent Regulations (FFAR). Once they are confirmed as exempt by the FIFA general secretariat, they must comply with article 7 of the FIFA Soccer Agent Regulations (FFAR). If these conditions are met, the individual will be issued a license and will be subject to ongoing licensing requirements, except for the need to earn a specific number of credits per year for five years, as indicated in the annual circular.
