If the service fee owed to a Soccer Agent is to be paid by the player or coach, the Engaging Entity and the Individual can agree to deduct the payment from the Individual’s Remuneration. This means that the employer of a player or coach can pay the Soccer Agent’s service fee by deducting it from their Remuneration and paying it directly to the Soccer Agent, but only if the player or coach has given their express consent. The Individual must be informed transparently when such payments are made. This is considered a form of technical or accounting assistance to the Individual, as the service fee is deducted from their Remuneration.
