What are the ongoing requirements for a Soccer Agent to maintain their licence?

To maintain their Soccer Agent licence, an individual must meet certain eligibility criteria. These include not making false, misleading, or incomplete statements in their licensing application, not being convicted of certain criminal charges, never having been suspended or disqualified by a regulatory authority for violating ethics and professional conduct rules, and not holding any interest in a club, academy, or league.

Additionally, the individual must not be an official or employee of FIFA, a confederation, a member association, a league, a club, or any organization connected with them. There is an exception if the individual has been appointed or elected to represent the interests of Soccer Agents.

Furthermore, the individual must not have been found performing Soccer Agent Services without the required licence in the twenty-four months before submitting a licence application, and in the five years before the submission, they must not have been personally declared bankrupt or been a majority shareholder, director, or key office holder of a business that has undergone bankruptcy, administration, or liquidation. The individual must also not hold any interest in any entity or organization that brokers, arranges, or conducts sports betting activities.

On an annual basis, the Soccer Agent must pay the annual licence fee to FIFA, comply with reporting obligations, and meet continuing professional development requirements.
