What amounts will be considered as a basis to calculate the service fee due to a FIFA Soccer Agent?

If a Soccer Agent is representing a player, coach, or Engaging Entity, the service fee is based on the player’s or coach’s Remuneration. The Remuneration refers to the gross financial compensation, including fiat money and cryptocurrencies, outlined in the employment contract negotiated between the parties. It includes the base salary, any sign-on fee, and any amount payable based on specific conditions being met, such as performance or loyalty bonuses. However, the definition of Remuneration does not include future transfer compensation, like sell-on fees, non-salary benefits, such as accommodation or telephony services, or image rights.

If a Soccer Agent is acting on behalf of a Releasing Entity, the calculation of the service fee for the agent's services is based on the transfer compensation defined in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP). However, the transfer compensation cannot include any payment made for breach of contract under article 17 or Annexe 2 of the RSTP or any sell-on fee.
